These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MAHORO mobile application (the "App"), a photography and community platform operated by MAHORO ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use MAHORO. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Your content
You retain ownership of the photos and other content you post ("Your Content"). By posting, you grant MAHORO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate and provide the App (for example, showing your posts in feeds, clubs, quests, and stacks). You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
Acceptable use & zero tolerance
MAHORO has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By creating a profile and using MAHORO, you agree that you will not post, share, or transmit any content, and will not engage in any conduct, that:
- is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or invades another person's privacy;
- is hateful or discriminatory, or promotes violence or harm against any individual or group;
- is sexually explicit or pornographic, or that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors in any way;
- is obscene, gratuitously violent, or otherwise objectionable;
- is spam, fraudulent, or deceptive, or that infringes the intellectual-property or other rights of others;
- impersonates any person or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity;
- attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
You also agree not to harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or otherwise abuse other users.
Enforcement. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove any content and suspend or terminate the account of any user we believe violates this policy or is otherwise harmful to the MAHORO community.
Reporting and blocking. You can report objectionable content and abusive users from within the app, and you can block other users so they can no longer interact with you. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them — including by removing the content and the users who post it — within 24 hours.
Premium subscriptions
MAHORO offers an optional auto-renewable premium subscription, available in monthly and annual options.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Premium benefits (such as creating clubs, creating unlimited quests including Open quests, and retaining posts beyond one year) apply only while your subscription is active.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
- Prices and benefits may change; we will provide notice of material changes as required.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI-generated feedback and scores are provided for inspiration only and may not be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAHORO will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the App and its users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
